As a Counsellor, I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their emotions and challenges. I am a member of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Westcountry Association For Counselling. I started my 4 year specialized training, at Devon Counselling College, I have also undertaken further training in suicide awareness, (Asist) with Living Works and spent 2 years volunteering at The Dartmoor Centre For Counselling and Psychotherapy This experience has provided me with a greater understanding of what I can offer an individual, dealing with issues such as but not limited to PTSD, anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts, I am committed to helping you to navigate your journey, in the safest way possible.
Here are some quick links via the BACP website, if you wish to find out more about the different approaches.

About Me
Here is a little about me I am 34 years old with a family of four.
I was born in Birmingham and moved to Devon when I was 2. I grew up in and around Newton Abbot.
I have worked in the construction industry from the age of 16 mainly in landscape gardening, with some slight deviations along the way such as driving lorries and general building work, and have been in the counselling profession for 3 years now.
There was a moment in my life where I found myself at a complete loss of who I was or where I wanted to be, and really had to re-evaluate what was important to me.
I would like to say that my journey to get where I am today has been plain sailing, but that hasn't always been the case.
I have lived life with joy, sadness and heartache, with various challenges and troubles along the way.
I am more than happy to share my story with you and happy to answer any questions you may have, As I truly believe where we have trust, openness and a strong human connection, we can gain some understanding about what is troubling you and look at how you might like to feel differently. I cannot claim to know or understand your pain, but what I can say is that I will endeavour to help you to the best of my capabilities.
